Bobbie C. Harris was born in Malvern, Arkansas on February 9 to her proud parents, Lethell and Charlene Davis. She graduated from Malvern High School in 1984. She later married and began to travel around the world with her husband while he served in the military. She has lived in Germany, Virginia, and Texas. Bobbie received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Henderson State University. She also received her Masters Degree in Human Services from Walden University.
Bobbie has had an extensive career in the human service field, including working as a mental health counselor and a case manager for the mentally disabled population.
Bobbie is a people person who never meets a stranger. Her affable personality and her love for people have endeared her to many. She is willing to sacrifice her own comfort for the good of others.
Bobbie, is committed Christian, is a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ. She has served as District Young Women Christian Council (YWCC) President in the New Day District of the Second Jurisdiction of Arkansas. She has been privileged to expound the Word of God during the Jurisdiction Women’s Convention. She serves her local church as a Sunday School teacher, Intercessory Prayer Leader and Missionary under the leadership of Bishop Robert G. Rudolph, Jr., the Adjutant General of the Church of God In Christ.
Bobbie is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) where she works with foster children. Her heart’s desire is the be the voice of those who do not have a voice and to bring hope to those who have no hope.
Bobbie has several interesting hobbies including: baking, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends. She is the mother of two sons, Jason and Maurice. She is a grandmother to Ayuana and expecting another granddaughter in August of 2017.
